Synthroid
I forgot my synthroid monday. All day I was dragging.
Couldn't figure out why, till I looked at the pill container by my bed.
I usually get up sometime at night and take my Synthroid. I have noticed that after I take it, I usually never have problems sleeping. It's as if my body says "yeah baby, that's the stuff".
Let me know if you have noticed this.
Definite correlation between my TSH /Synthroid and energy level.
The thyroid controls so so many aspect of your body.
So I composed a song (sung to the tune of "Cocaine")...
If you want to hang out, you've gotta take her out, Synthroid
If you want to get up, up from the ground, Synthroid
She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie
Synthroid
If your day is new, you want to roll on too, Synthroid
When your day's done killed, put out them pills, Sytnthroid
She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie
Synthroid
If your heart beats slow, you gonna need some mo, Synthroid
If you forget yo pills, you betta be still, Synthroid
She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie
Synthroid

(Smiling) ..I like it. Gonna give it a try with my small music group, if you're ok with it.. We get together once a week ... 3 guitars, 2 violins, piano, and vocals. Let you know how it goes. Keep writing songs. Always fun.

I actually thought of you when I posted that and thought "Gosh, I hope Neal doesn't get jealous" (after all the poetry you've written)
Keep on keepin on Mr. Neal !

Speaking of poetry, I get this wonderful blog post or weekly newsletter or whatever it'scalled, if not a bit over my head at times literarily, on writers and poet
Poets. Sorry...got cut off. Anyway, I got this and I loved, not the short quote but the longer few paragraphs of what ee Cummings said about feeling, and how feeling is what poetry is about. He says it better than I. I was touched by his words and thought I'd share. Maybe it will resonate with you too. The writer of the newsletter always sprinkles many other literary or musical or other artistic references and I sometimes get deliciously lost going from one reference to another.
Sorry for my rambling. I think her name is Maria Popova, or close to it, the one who writes the blog. She even had a link in this newsletter to something of Janis Joplin's. It's at the bottom. We'll, let me know what if anything ee cummings' words, or anything else in her newsletter does for you. Her literary knowledge I envy.
